President drops new single “Destroy Me” ahead of debut EP
EP king of terrors arrives September 26
PRESIDENT has released a new track titled “Destroy Me”, taken from their upcoming debut EP King of Terrors, due out September 26. The single follows earlier releases “In The Name Of The Father,” “Fearless,” and “RAGE.”
The band has described “Destroy Me” as one of the tracks that consistently connects live—and based on early footage, they’re not wrong. The track blends emo-rap phrasing with a breakdown that pulls hard from early 2000s post-hardcore. It’s loud, vulnerable, and aimed directly at the throat. You can hear equal parts emotional collapse and crowd-killing energy.
It’s not subtle, but subtle isn’t the point.
The release lands ahead of the band’s first-ever U.K. headline tour, which sold out across the board. That includes their earlier headline rally at London’s The Garage, where Rock Sound caught the set and confirmed the hype isn’t just internet smoke.
President hasn’t released the full EP tracklist yet, but the buildup suggests King of Terrors will lean into themes of control, identity, and existential pressure. That’s a lot—but if you’re screaming through it in a mask with a backing band that sounds like a riot, it tracks.
If you’ve got chaos in your playlist and reckoning in your wardrobe, DethNote Apparel makes gear for that energy.
